Limardi Headed Home To New England

• After a three-year stint as OM of Townsquare’s cluster in scenic Poughkeepsie, NY, Joe Limardi has scored a transfer back to New England as the new OM/Brand Manager of Country sibling WOKQ/Portsmouth, NH. He will also oversee WPKQ (103.7 The Peak)/North Conway, NH (which serves Portland, ME) and Classic Hits duo WSAK/WSHK (102.1 & 103.5 The Shark), which serve the New Hampshire and Maine seacoast. We understand Limardi will also be working on programming projects on a national level out of Portsmouth.

He succeeds JC Coffey, who was recently named PD/MD/afternoon delight at Binnie Media Country WTHT (99.9 The Wolf)/Portland, ME.

Limardi was named OM of four-station cluster — Hot AC WCZX (Mix 97.7), Rock WPDH, Alternative WRRV and Country WKXP (94.3/97.3 The Wolf) in July 2014, after seven years with Ryman Hospitality’s legendary WSM-AM/Nashville. His previous programming stops include WDBY (Y105)/Danbury, CT, WRQQ/Nashville, WZOK/Rockford, IL, WFHN (Fun 107)/New Bedford, MA and a stint as APD at WZMX/Hartford. Limardi can be congratulated at joe.limardi@townsquaremedia.com.

• Townsquare has now initiated a planetwide search for Limardi’s successor — the position is now posted on the Townsquare Media Careers portal.
