McFeelie Joins Quarter-Century Club

• We join the rest of the industry in extending this laurel… and hearty handshake to Larry McFeelie, Brand Content Director and midday personality on Hubbard Radio Active Rock 98KUPD/Phoenix, who is celebrating a very special career milestone — 25 years with the same radio station!

McFeelie began his lifelong love affair with radio back in 1994 as an intern at the late AM Alternative outlet KUKQ, and gradually progressed upward through the ranks, delicately balancing on the cutting edge of everything new that has come with the all of changes radio has seen over the past two decades, ultimately arriving at his current lofty position.

“Larry’s tenure and contributions at 98KUPD are a special rarity,” said Trip Reeb, VP/Market Manager of Hubbard Radio Phoenix, adding, “I’m so lucky to have joined him for this journey.” John Holmberg, the ringmaster of Holmberg’s Morning Sickness, commented, “Proud to say I’ve gotten to ride shotgun with Larry for the entirety of my 20 years at KUPD. He’s my favorite person in the building. A supportive boss and more over a great friend! Congrats to one of radios good guys! Unprecedented run, I am very proud of my buddy, Larry.”

Mark Randall, Promotions & Marketing Director for 98KUPD added, “Larry has been an invaluable piece and leader of 98KUPD’s continued success for 25 great years. His passion for the station and the format is contagious. I personally look forward to many more years of us creating opportunities for our listeners and sponsors to enjoy what we do.”
