Morgan Prue Joins WROR/Boston
• Beasley Classic Hits WROR/Boston welcomes the talented Ms. Morgan Prue aboard as APD/MD, effective Monday, March 18. Fortunately, Prue’s moving expenses will be incredibly reasonable, as she simply crosses the street from Entercom AC WMJX (Magic 106.7), where she served as APD for the past six years. Fun Fact: WMJX was formerly owned by Greater Media and Beasley prior to its 2017 sale to Entercom, so Prue’s move will no doubt set off a joyful reunion.
In making the announcement, Beasley Boston Director of Programming Cadillac Jack said, “Beasley Media Boston remains committed to building out our team of ‘A’ talent in all aspects of our business, and I know Morgan to be one of the very best, having worked with her twice before. I can’t wait for her to be back with us soon. Third time’s a charm!” No less thrilled about Prue’s imminent arrival is VP/Market Manager Mary Menna, who commented, “We are thrilled to be able to welcome Morgan back to our family with open arms!”
Prior to her arrival in Boston in March 2013, Prue programmed Astral Media Classic Hits CJOT (Boom 99.7) in her hometown of Ottawa, Canada, but she’s probably best known for her 15-year run with Clear Channel AC WLTW (106.7 Lite fm)/New York. She also spent some time at WPLJ/New York and began her radio career in Tampa. “To say I’m thrilled to be working with Cadillac again is an understatement,” said Prue. “I’m looking forward to kicking some serious you-know-what in Boston with the Beasley team led by Mary Menna!”
