NEW Direction For Fabi Pimentel
• After nearly 17 years with CBS Radio and Entercom New York, the last decade as APD/MD of Hot AC WNEW (NEW 102.7)/New York, RAMP has learned that Fabi Pimentel has decided to pursue new opportunities, possibly on the label side.
Jim Ryan, SVP of Programming and PD of WNEW, commented, “Fabi (pictured here with an unidentified friend) has fantastic ears and a great passion for music. I remember so many bands she went out and saw in a small club and raved about the next day who became huge. She would be an asset to any label looking for someone who understands what it takes to break through. And she has worked with two of the most pretentious people in the business in me and Steve Kingston, so she can handle any artistic ego.”
