‘Out Now’ Is On Now
• To coincide with “National Coming Out Day,” Entercom and its Los Angeles Top 40 station, KAMP (97.1 AMP Radio) today launched Out Now, the premiere LGBTQ+ Talk Radio Network dedicated to celebrating the LGBTQ+ community and their allies. Out Now celebrated its birth date today with a live broadcast from The Abbey in West Hollywood, CA from 6am-9pm, featuring guest appearances from actor Willam Belli, comedian Bruce Villach, singer Taylor Dayne and Fortune Feimster, among others.
“We are thrilled to launch ‘Out Now,’ a passion project for our entire team, to give a voice to the LGBTQ community and its allies,” said Jeff Federman, SVP/Market Manager, Entercom Los Angeles. “Our goal is to provide a high quality listening experience and content for our community as well as a diverse platform with differing points of view.”
Out Now’s new weekday line-up looks like this: 6-10am: The Morning Beat, hosted by Jai Rodriguez and Mikalah Gordon; 10am-noon: Our House; noon-2pm: (Monday): The B. Scott Show; (Tuesday): Life w/ Ryan, hosted by Ryan Black; (Thursday): Dumb Gay Politics + Everything Else, hosted by Julie Goldman and Brandy Howard; (Friday): Sidebar with John Duran. 4-7pm: Let’s Go There, hosted by Shira Lazar and Ryan Mitchell; 7-9pm (Monday-Thursday): LoveLine, hosted by Dr. Chris Donaghue and Carrie Keagan; 9pm-6am: Late Night Music.
Out Now is available on Radio.com, the Radio.com app and on 97.1 HD2. It’s also rolling in four additional markets: KMXB-HD2/Las Vegas, KKDO-HD2/Sacramento, KXSN-HD3/San Diego and KLLC-HD2/San Francisco.
