iHeartMedia just enhanced the programming ranks within its Seattle-Tacoma and Portland, OR locations with two significant appointments, starting with Hunter Quinn, APD/MD/afternoon host at Hot AC KBKS (106.1 Kiss FM)/Seattle, who doubles his in-house programming responsibilities duties with the installation of bonus APD stripes at Top 40 clustermate KPWK (Power 93.3).

In a staff memo, Rich Moore, SVP of Programming for iHeartMedia Seattle remarked of Quinn, “Hunter’s passion, drive, and attention to detail made him an obvious choice to team up with [PD] Justin [Riley] on both of these brands.”

But wait! There’s more! Ben Marcotte, PD of iHeartMedia Alternative KFOO (ALT 102.9)/Seattle-Tacoma has also annexed similar duties for Portland Alternative sibling Radio 102.3 (KKRZ-HD2). Luckily, Moore had saved some extra remarks for Marcotte, as he said, “Ben has done an incredible job growing our ALT brand and we’re confident that Ben’s skills and oversight will reset and grow Radio 102.3 in Portland.” Moore added, “I’m extremely happy and grateful to work with such a great team of programmers on a daily basis!”
