PD Stripes For Mica Cadena

• Another day brings another exciting Dick Broadcasting Company promotion — today’s lucky winner is Mica Cadena, a.k.a. “L.A. Rocks,” who has been elevated from “Acting” to “Official” Program Director of Active Rock WXQR (Rock 105.5)/Greenville-New Bern-Jacksonville, NC.

In making the announcement, DBC VP of Programming Jason Goodman said, “It was an obvious decision to promote Mica to PD of WXQR as she was doing the role already. WXQR has been on the air for 40 years, and recently Mica has lead WXQR to its highest ratings ever!” Market Manager Tony Denton concurred, saying, “Mica is a true success story!
