Rodriguez Awarded Middays At Rumba 106.1/Philly
• iHeartMedia Philadelphia announced the arrival of Johanny Rodriguez as the new midday personality for Spanish Top 40 WUMR (Rumba 106.1), “#1 Para Reggaetón Y Variedad En Philadelphia. Her show will air Monday through Saturday from 10am to 2pm ET.
“Rumba 106.1 is thrilled to welcome Johanny to our lineup,” said Rumba 106.1 PD “DeeJay Jonathan” Tineo. “She brings a unique warmth and a deep connection to the community that will enhance our station’s connection to our listeners.”
Rodriguez was most recently on-air at Ritmo 98.5 & 104.1 in nearby Trenton, NJ and brings with her over 10 years of experience as a radio host and journalist, including her role as Public Relations Manager for UNICARIBE in the Dominican Republic. She holds a degree in journalism from Santo Domingo Catholic University in DR.

Concurrent with the arrival Rodriguez in middays, Jessie Dee moves to 7-midnight, the shift formerly occupied by Larry “Yako” Calderon, who was recently named PD of sister WHYI (Y100)/Miami.
