Scott Jackson Takes PM Drive, WVSP/Norfolk

• Max Media Hampton Roads is proud to announce the return of Scott Jackson to the Max Media family. Jackson will formally take over the afternoon show on Sports-Talk WVSP (Priority Auto Sports 94.1)/Norfolk-Virginia Beach on Monday, July 31.

Jackson brings with him 30+ years of experience, including a previous stint in the building as morning host on Sports-Talk sister WGH-AM 1310 from 1993-1996. He’s also worked for Washington Wizards Radio Network, Audacy Sports-Talk duo WTEM-AM (The Team 980) and WJFK (106.7 The Fan)/Washington and was a studio host for St John’s Basketball.

Mike “Moose” Smith, Operations Manager for Max Media Hampton Roads, remarked, “We were fortunate to find Scott! He has major market experience, already has roles with sports franchises we are associated with, works with the NFL team that many of our listeners support, and has local ties within the community. He truly is a perfect fit for us.”

Jackson said, “I’m so excited to come back to where it all started. The 757 area has always meant a lot to me. I look forward to the opportunity of informing and entertaining the passionate sports fans in Hampton Roads once again.” Jackson will continue his existing roles as play-by-play host for Old Dominion University Men’s Basketball on ESPN+ and as the post-game host of Washington Commanders’ Game Day.
