WGN Ups Sandberg Boyle To Dir./News & Ops

• Tribune News-Talk WGN Radio/Chicago has promoted Mary Sandberg Boyle to Director of News and Operations, beginning Monday, June 3.

Ms. Sandberg Boyle (left) is a Chicagoland native and 19-year media veteran who joined WGN Radio in 2015 and helped to launch the station’s weekday morning business show, The Opening Bell. She was most recently the Executive Producer and Contributor on The Steve Cochran Show. Before that she was Executive Producer of The Steve Dahl Show. Sandberg Boyle previously spent 13 years across the street with CBS Radio and executive-produced the morning show on WBBM-FM (B96).
