Wolff Gets Warm In Cincinnati

• Cumulus has appointed Josh Wolff as Program Director of heritage AC WRRM (Warm 98.5)/Cincinnati, effective April 24. He will succeed Brian Demay, who sadly passed away in early January.

Wolf had spent the past 12 years working for iHeartMedia, most recently as SVP of Programming for Allentown & Lancaster, PA, Wilmington, DE & Salisbury, MD and PD of Top 40 WAEB (B104) Allentown until last October, when his position was eliminated. He was also a multi-market personality for iHeart stations in several markets.

Prior to his transfer to PA in 2019, Wolff was APD/Marketing Director for AC KESZ (99.9 KEZ) and Adult Hits KYOT (95.5 The Mountain)/Phoenix. He previously served as SVP of Programming for iHeartMedia Salisbury-Ocean City and he also worked for the company in Springfield, MO as APD for KGBX and KTOZ (Alice 95.5) and Digital PD for iHeartMedia Springfield. Wolff has also worked in Atlanta, Pittsburgh, Greenville, SC and Binghamton, NY.

Keith Mitchell, Operations Manager of Cumulus Cincinnati, said, “I’m excited to have Josh take the controls of Warm 98, one the country’s most heritage Adult Contemporary brands. He gets the format and the listener lifestyle. The Warm staff is really going to enjoy working with him and appreciate his enthusiasm. Being a Pittsburgh guy, we’ll have to get him to trade in his Terrible Towel for a Bengals cap.”

Wolff commented, “I’m grateful to Cumulus for putting their trust in me to guide and grow Warm 98.5. I want to thank the many mentors along the way who have prepared me to be ready to program this legendary station. I can’t wait to start — and to become very familiar with Skyline Chili!”
