• WGKX (Kix 106)/Memphis afternoon host Scott Gaines has earned a transfer — and market upgrade — to Cumulus Country sister WKHX (101.5 Kicks)/Atlanta as APD/afternoon personality, starting Sept. 5. He succeeds CJ Lusk, who in June moved up into mornings, along with midday talent Ali Mac, joining host Cadillac Jack to form the Caddy, CJ & Ali show.

PD Scott Lindy said, “The high level of Scott’s talent, experience and dedication to the craft of creating great radio is a perfect fit for Kicks 101.5. Our listeners are in for a treat and we’re gaining a very strong internal player.” Gaines said: “I want to thank Morgan Bohannon and Duane Shannon for making Cumulus Memphis a great place to work. My thanks go out to Mike McVay and John Dimick for affording me this opportunity. I’ve only met Atlanta VP/Market Manager Sean Shannon once in my life and can already see why his leadership has created a winning team. I’ve been a huge fan of Scott Lindy and am honored to join his team at the legendary Kicks 101.5.” Gaines previously did afternoons on WSM-FM/Nashville and was APD/MD/afternoon jock on WDTW (106.7 The Fox)/Detroit.

Hannah Damas joins Midwest Communications Country WNCY (Y100)/Green Bay-Appleton-Oshkosh, WI to do middays, starting August 28. Damas arrives from elsewhere in the great state of Wisconsin — she’s currently working for Saga’s Milwaukee Radio Group doing nights on WNRG (Energy 106.9) and making regular morning show appearances on the WKLH (Hometown Rock 96.5).

Y100 Brand Manager Dan Stone says, “We’re excited to bring Hannah home to Green Bay to join our staff of stellar entertainers.” Former midday talent Randy “Shotgun” Shannon recently moved up to co-host the morning show with Charli McKenzie after the June retirement of 18-year morning host Henry “The Bear” Goddard.

• Magic Broadcasting Country WWLY (Wild Willie 100.1)/Panama City Beach, FL has parted ways with morning personality TJ Kelley after a five-month run. Kelley is available to chat with potential suitors at tededwardsjunior@gmail.com.
