Domino Awarded Nights @ JAMZ/Albany

• Albany Broadcasting in Albany, NY makes wise use of budding talent already in the building, as PD Jon Reilly fills his night show vacancy on Rhythmic WAJZ (JAMZ 96.3) with the stylings of Drew Payne, henceforth known as “Domino.”

In a staff memo, Reilly said, “Drew has been a valuable member of Team JAMZ for the past several years as a part-time associate, and has grown as a talent and is ready for the challenge to dominate the night show on JAMZ. Drew was born and raised in Albany and grew up listening to JAMZ! We could not be more excited about giving Drew this opportunity to grow and join the team fulltime! Please congratulate Drew when you see him, as he officially starts on Monday, Feb. 3.”

Payne/Domino succeeds Ayeeedubb, who moved up to mornings in November.
