Entercom Baltimore’s Midday Remix

• Entercom today announced two significant midday moves in Baltimore — the action starts with Maria Dennis, longtime midday personality on Hot AC WWMX (Mix 106.5), who unplugs her headphone, walks across the hall to AC sibling WLIF (Today’s 101.9) and plugs back in to do the midday show. At approximately the exact same time, Corinna Delgado will enter the Mix 106.5 studio to take over middays. She will continue to co-host The Morning Drive show weekday mornings on Classic Hits sister WIAD (94.7 The Drive)/Washington, D.C.

Here now to tell us more is Tracy Brandys, SVP/Market Manager, Entercom Baltimore, who said, “I’ve worked with Maria for over 20 years. She’s a consummate professional and an amazing on-air talent. All of us are thrilled to have her in our Entercom family, and we are excited that she’ll now bring her cheerful persona and enthusiasm to Today’s 101.9. I’m equally excited to have Corinna Delgado, who is also already part of our Entercom family, join us to take over the midday shift at Mix 106.5.”

Dennis joined Mix 106.5 in 1997 after stops in her hometown of Providence, as well as Orlando, Boston and New Hampshire. She said, “I’ve enjoyed spending the past 20+ years of my life on the air at Mix. I’m equally looking forward to this exciting new chapter of my life and to connecting with listeners on Today’s 101.9.” Delgado joined Entercom at the beginning of June. Before that she did middays across the street at the late WRQX (Mix 107.5)/Washington and KRBE/Houston. She commented, “I’m excited for the opportunity to continue working with Entercom and to get to know Mix listeners.”
