Forman Returns To WLIT/Chicago

• After a nine-year absence, Melissa Forman is returning to host the morning show on iHeartMedia AC WLIT (93.9 Lite FM)/Chicago, effective May 29. She will report to Mick Lee, PD of 93.9 Lite FM. Forman previously did mornings on Lite FM for eight years until 2009, when she joined WCIU-TV (The “U”) to co-host You & Me This Morning with Jeanne Sparrow.

“I’m so excited to welcome Melissa Forman back into the iHeartMedia Chicago family,” said Matt Scarano, President of iHeartMedia Markets Group’s Chicago Region. “She has a rich history with Chicago and 93.9 Lite FM’s listeners, and we are looking forward to working with her again.”

Forman previously worked at WLRW/Champaign-Urbana, IL and WVMX/Cincinnati before returning home to Chicago to work at the former WKIE-FM. Commenting on her imminent return to Lite FM, Forman said, “It’s an opportunity to go home again to a station that I have always loved, with listeners I have really missed. I’m humbled and excited.” Forman succeeds Kristina Kage, who exited on Friday after three years.
