KNBR’s Morning Show At Night
Kevin Frandsen and Drew Hoffar, former hosts of The Audible morning show on Cumulus Sports-Talk KNBR 680/San Francisco have been tapped to host a new evening show — KNBR Tonight debuts Monday, August 14 and will air weeknights from 7-10pm PT.
Frandsen (left) is a San Jose native who played for the Giants from 2006-2009, followed by the Angels, Phillies and Nationals before ending his 10-year MLB career with the Giants in 2015. Hoffa (right) previously held anchor and host positions at KGMZ/San Francisco and KHTK/Sacramento.
Jeremiah Crowe, PD of KNBR 680 and KNBR 1050 (KTCT), said, “Drew and Kevin are primed to make a huge impact in their new roles within KNBR Tonight. Their work ethic is unmatched and both are committed to the smallest of details that will generate a great listener experience. They are Bay Area natives whose personalities are relatable to the common fan, yet they each possess a vast knowledge of the overall sports landscape. I’m equally excited to see what they will provide us digitally, and I applaud Cumulus San Francisco for putting them in a position to shine. Bay Area sports fans will find unmatched opinion, insight and humor each evening when they tune in from 7-10pm.”
Frandsen said, “Drew and I are looking forward to starting on August 14 and KNBR 680 fans can expect a local-born show with established chemistry out of the gates.” Hoffar added, “As a lifelong KNBR 680 listener and San Leandro native, I’m thrilled to have this opportunity to reach so many diehard Bay Area sports fans on a nightly basis. I can’t wait to get started on August 14th!”
