Mason & Remy Return To St. Louis

• Late Thursday night Hubbard Radio St. Louis announced the welcome return of market vets Mason & Remy, who will assume command of afternoon drive on Country WIL (New Country 92.3), starting July 9. Upon their arrival, current WIL afternoon duo Stacey and Jonah will cross the hall to do afternoons on Adult Hits sister WARH (106.5 The Arch).

Mason & Remy (left) most recently did mornings on iHeartMedia Country WEBG (Big 95.5)/Chicago until April, but they are certainly well known quantities in the Gateway City — they notably did mornings, and later, afternoons on iHeartMedia Country rival KSD (93.7 The Bull)/St. Louis for seven years. For the final two years they juggled afternoons on The Bull and mornings on Big 95.5 until January 2017, when they relinquished the St. Louis show to focus solely on Chicago.

In a joint statement, Mason & Remy said, “We are both very excited to get back home to our amazing friends & family in St. Louis! And we’re looking forward to seeing our fans return and catch us on New Country 92.3! We want to send a BIG thank you to Hubbard Radio’s John Kijowski, Scott Roddy, Greg Strassell, Drew Horowitz, Dave Besler and Ginny Morris for this opportunity!”

Commenting on their move over to The Arch, Stacey and Jonah (left) noted, “We’re beyond excited to move to our amazing sister station! The Arch is such a fantastic station and we can’t wait to join the team.”

Scott Roddy, PD both stations, said, “Today is a banner day, a historical day, for Hubbard St. Louis. It’s an honor to work with talent of this caliber. Today’s announcement cements that Hubbard continues to be the platinum standard for LOCAL broadcasting.”

Market Manager John Kijowski said, “Adding Mason and Remy to the roster of our already high profile talent on New Country 92.3 like Bud and Broadway, and Stacey and Jonah to the Arch’s talent corral that includes Spencer’s Neighborhood with Cassiday, will further strengthen the relationship between our listeners and advertisers. I’m very proud of our stations’ teams.”
