Ryan Debuts In Middays On KSCS/Dallas

Rachel Ryan debuted Monday as the new midday personality on Cumulus Media’s KSCS (New Country 96.3)/Dallas. Ryan earns the transfer to Dallas from middays at Top 40 sibling WWWQ (Q99.7)/Atlanta. She’s also a known quantity in DFW thanks to her other gig tracking middays on Top 40 KLIF (Hot 93.3)/Dallas, a duty she will now relinquish.

In making the announcement, Mike Preston, PD of KSCS and KPLX (99.5 The Wolf), said, “We are thrilled to promote from within Cumulus and have Rachel joining our team on New Country 96.3. Her energy and passion for connecting to the community is the key to her past success and we can’t wait to have her on KSCS!” Ryan commented, “I am beyond excited to be a part of the team at KSCS! This decision was an easy one, and I’m eager to hit the ground running in Dallas! Thank you, Mike Preston and Dan Bennett, for having confidence in me… I can’t wait to get to work!”

Prior to joining Cumulus Atlanta, Ryan, formerly known as “Blondie” was morning co-host on Alpha Media’s KTFM/San Antonio, and she previously did mornings and middays on Cumulus Top 40 WABD in her hometown of Mobile, AL. Ryan started her radio career at the late, legendary WABB/Mobile.
