Hsu Upped To Mornings On Worcester’s Pike

• Cumulus Media has tapped Worcester’s own Mike Hsu as the new host of The Pike Morning Show on Classic Rock WWFX (The Pike 100)/Worcester, MA. Hsu joined The Pike part-time last August, and was most recently heard on The Pike weekdays from 6-8pm and Saturdays from 4-7pm.

A 30-year radio pro and a Worcester native, Hsu famously spent two decades at the late, legendary WAAF/Worcester-Boston from 1999 until WAAF was sold to EMF and signed off at midnight on February 21, 2020. Hsu started his radio career in Richmond, VA, where he worked at WVGO and 106.5 The Buzz.

Bob Goodell, RVP/Market Manager, Cumulus Boston/Worcester/New London, said, “Pike Program Director Chuck Perks and I are both very excited to have Mike hosting The Pike’s morning show. He’s a part of the rock fabric of Central Massachusetts and one of the most well known personalities from his time served at WAAF.” Hsu commented, “Worcester has a lot to offer and I’m glad I can let people know that and be more a part of the community by broadcasting on Worcester’s Rock Station.”
