Willoughby Joins Futuri As SVP, Sales/Marketing

• Cleveland-based Futuri, the leading provider of AI-driven audience engagement and sales intelligence solutions for broadcasters and digital publishers, welcomes veteran radio exec Bob Willoughby aboard as SVP, Sales and Marketing.

Willoughby brings to Futuri 35+ years of broadcast sales and leadership experience, most recently serving as Market President of SummitMedia Richmond. He also spent nearly two decades with Cox Media Group and is the former President of the Virginia Association of Broadcasters. Willoughby is also an accomplished career coach and author who has presented workshops based on his book, The Six Lessons of Success.

“Bob Willoughby understands how critically important it is for broadcasters and digital publishers to embrace new revenue models, distribution strategies, and content technologies,” said Futuri CEO Daniel Anstandig. “He’ll be a powerful force in bringing Futuri’s capabilities to a wider group of media companies and ensuring that our current partners see maximum ROI from our partnerships.”

Willoughby said, “Futuri is uniquely qualified to help legacy media benefit from new technology, and that’s right where I want to be — guiding and serving industries that serve so many local communities. I saw how Futuri helps grow revenue, content, and audience as a longtime client, and I’m gratified to help bring our solutions to a wider group of broadcasters and digital publishers,” said Willoughby. “Thanks to Daniel Anstandig for making me a part of their passionate, incredible team!”

• One of Willoughby’s first projects will be moderating the January 26 TopLine webinar: Crushing It In 2023: Top Sales Managers Share Their Insights.
