England To Run Hubbard Radio Chicago
• Jeff England has been named VP/Market Manager for Hubbard Radio Chicago — Hot AC WTMX (101.9 The Mix), Classic Rock simulcast WDRV/WWDV (99.7/96.9 The Drive) and AC WSHE. Chicago is the largest market in the Hubbard Radio portfolio. In making the announcement, Hubbard Radio President/COO Drew Horowitz said, “We are thrilled to have someone with Jeff’s experience and competitive spirit assuming the leadership mantle in our largest market. What makes our choice of Jeff even more gratifying is we were able to promote from within which is always our preference.”
England is a 28-year radio vet who most recently served as VP/Director of Sales for Hubbard Radio in Phoenix. Prior to joining Hubbard, England was the President/Market Manager and Director of Sales for Clear Channel/iHeartMedia Phoenix. England’s radio career started in Atlanta where he worked for Shamrock Broadcasting, Jacor Broadcasting, and Clear Channel in sales and sales management roles. “I am beyond thrilled with this opportunity,” England said. I will also be shopping for a new winter wardrobe!” England will succeed John Gallagher, who left last month after a two-year run.
