Tampa Bay: Now Extra Spicer

• iHeartMedia Country WFUS (US103.5)/Tampa Bay has named company veteran Cindy Spicer as the new Program Director. That position has been vacant since Travis Daily exited last October. Ms. Spicer earns the transfer (and keeps her Florida driver’s license) as she segues from the PD post at Country sister WQIK/Jacksonville.

Spicer starts February 19 and will report to Tommy Chuck, SVP of Programming for iHeartMedia Tampa Bay, who commented, “I could not be more excited for Cindy to join our team at US103.5. Cindy has a track record of incredible success and I’m excited to watch her dominate Tampa Bay!”

Prior to joining WQIK in April 2012, Spicer programmed former Clear Channel Country KUSS/Diego. Spicer remarked, “Thank you to the entire iHeartMedia team in Jacksonville for the last six years. I’m so excited for the opportunity to be a part of US 103.5 and the amazing team in Tampa Bay. Let’s go!”
