Going Back to Tally
• Jeff Horn has returned to his longtime stomping grounds of Tallahassee, FL, hired by Adams Radio Group as OM of the cluster and PD of Country WWOF (103-1 The Wolf). He replaces Gregory “Big Moose” Juszczyk, who recently left the company for a new opportunity TBA. Adams Tallahassee also includes Top 40 WHTF (Hot 104.9), Adult Hits WANK (99.1 Hank FM) and Classic Rock/Triple A hybrid WQTL (106.1 The Sound).
Horn is best known for his previous 27-year Tallahassee stretch that started in 1987, including nine years as OM/PD of iHeartMedia’s cluster until October of 2013. More recently he programmed Mighty Media Country WEBL (95.3 & 97.7 The Rebel)/Memphis and Cumulus Country WYZB (NASH FM 105.5)/Ft. Walton Beach, FL. Horn began his career in the Miami area with stops at WHYI (Y-100), the former 96X and WKCO (K102)/Ft. Lauderdale.
Hank Kestenbaum, VP/GM of Adams Tallahassee said, “We are thrilled to have Jeff on our team. Jeff has spent 30 years in Tallahassee radio and his prior experience in Country Radio and in similar positions made him the perfect candidate for us, not to mention we have a prior history together. I guess you could say we put the band back together!”
Interestingly, Horn’s hire by Adams Radio Tallahassee puts him back in the same building where he once worked under Catamount, Cap City Radio Partners and Triad. Horn commented, “It’s so exciting to be back in Country radio, and even more exciting to be with Adams Radio and The Wolf! I can hardly wait to dive in!” Horn can now be contacted at jeffhorn@argtf.com.
