Today’s Hits Now Playing In Philly

• While no formal announcement has been made, RAMP has noticed that Entercom AC WTDY (Today’s 96.5)/Philadelphia is apparently reversing a 14-month-old decision and is headed back in a more Hot AC/Top 40 direction — the station has updated its moniker to “Today’s Hits” and is now playing a decidedly more hit-based mix that includes Bruno Mars, Kanye West, Adele, Drake, Taylor Swift, The Chainsmokers, Justins Bieber and Timberlake, etc.

You may recall that it was January 2017 when former owner CBS Radio flipped Top 40 WZMP (96.5 AMP Radio) to AC as WTDY (Today’s 96.5). We understand this process is part of a gradual evolution and no staff changes are expected.
