Double J Packing For Paradise
• Double J is headed to Hawai’i — after a nationwide search, Double J has been selected as the new APD/afternoon talent on SummitMedia Rhythmic KPHW (Power 104.3)/Honolulu, working closely with OM/PD Wayne Maria.
Andrew Rosen, President of SummitMedia Hawai’i added, “SummitMedia is committed to developing the best content for our market. The addition of Double J will help accelerate that growth and we are happy to have him on board.”
Double J most recently did weekends for Midwest Communications Top 40 WNFN (i106.7)/Nashville — he had relocated there for family reasons in early 2017 after a stint as PD of Results Radio’s Northern California Top 40 duo KEWB (Power 94)/Redding, CA and KCEZ (Power 102)/Chico. Earlier career stops include KAGM/Albuquerque, NM, KHTN (Hot 104.7)/Merced-Modesto, CA, KSEQ (Q97)/Fresno, KDND (107.9 The End)/Sacramento and KPAT/Santa Maria, CA.
Commenting on his sweet new gig, Double J said, “I would like to thank SVP of Programming Bill Tanner, National PD John Olsen, Andrew Rosen and Wayne Maria for the opportunity to be a part of Power 104.3 and the amazing team in Honolulu. I’m looking forward to taking my passion for radio and programming to continue building winning SummitMedia brands.”
