Bobby Rich: Matinee Idol

The good citizens of Tucson will be ushering in 2017 while getting used to a whole new radio paradigm — after 24 years of waking up with Bobby Rich on Scripps AC KMXZ (94-9 MIXfm), the market legend is moving to afternoon drive, starting today! The new Bobby Rich Celebrates Tucson show debuts in the 3-7pm daypart. Rich’s longtime wake-up co-hosts Greg Curtis and Mrs. Grant will continue to pilot The Morning MIX until 10am, followed by Marty Bishop in middays, Bobby until 7, Delilah from 7-midnight and John Tesh in overnights.

As OM Smokey Rivers said, “The goodwill and great rapport that Bobby has established with the Tucson community will be the foundation for the new show, along with Bobby’s trademark sense of humor and MIX music. He is energized about the new afternoon adventure, as is the entire MIXfm Tucson team.” Rich will succeed Adrienne Walker, who exited before Christmas.
