Come Do Nights In St. Cloud

• There’s been a flurry of pre-holiday weekend activity in the hallways of Leighton Broadcasting’s building in scenic St. Cloud, MN — the action begins with the announcement that OM JJ Holiday has now assumed programming responsibilities for Country KZPK (Wild Country 99). Former PD/morning host Kris Valentine left in February and is pursuing entrepreneurial adventures with his wife outside of radio.

Concurrently, KZPK afternoon personality Kelly Jordan moves up into Valentine’s former morning shift and Brook Stephens segues from middays into afternoon drive. The Wild Country midday show will now be graciously tracked by Kat, who co-hosts the morning show across the hall on Top 40 KCLD.

Hang on… we’re not done yet — KZPK evening personality Mike McNamee is also leaving the station and following his fiancée to Tampa to work outside the radio business, so…. Mr. Holiday needs a new night jock for KZPK, and he’s already sweetening the pot, as it were, as he proudly tells RAMP, “I am offering one month of free pizza or beer to the person I hire! The night show is live — no voice tracking. Interested applicants should send audio — with phoners to Jobs@leightonbroadcasting.com.”
