ABC Radio, Skyview To Syndicate Cortez
• After more than a week of radio silence, RAMP has confirmed that The Dana Cortez Show is indeed going into syndication for Top 40, Rhythmic and Hip Hop formats, via ABC Radio and Skyview Networks — the first result since ABC Radio and Skyview Networks’ joint syndication and sales initiative announced in April. As we recently reported, The Dana Cortez Show, starring Cortez, her husband/Executive Producer DJ Automatic and their best friend, comedian Anthony Almanzar, had been based at Univision’s KBBT (98.5 The Beat)/San Antonio until August 1, when it suddenly went M.I.A., followed by a cryptic Facebook post that said, “We promise we’ll be right back soon bigger and better.” Cortez had been doing mornings on The Beat since November 2015, when she transferred from mornings on sister KKSS (97.3 Kiss)/Albuquerque, NM.
