Hess Locked Down At Cumulus DC
• Cumulus Media has inked Bill Hess to a sweet new multi-year contract extension as corporate Vice President, News/Talk and Program Director of WMAL-AM & FM/Washington. And for the past three years Hess has also served as Operations Manager for the Cumulus D.C. cluster.
Hess’ four-decade radio career has included on-air and programming positions in News-Talk and music radio, including WTEM, WASH & WBIG/Washington, WSNE, WWBB & WHJJ/Providence, RI and WHYN-AM & FM/Springfield, MA. He was also a Brand Manager for Clear Channel/iHeartRadio and served as SVP of Programming for Air America Radio in New York.
