Mac Now APD @ ALT/Des Moines

• Congrats to Alex Mac, MD/afternoon drive personality on iHeartMedia Alternative KDXA (ALT 106.3)/Des Moines, IA, who has been awarded stylish and fully functional APD stripes. In his newly expanded role, Mac will be responsible for the station’s music and programming content, as well as its on-air personalities and digital extensions.

Mac reports to Dustin “Fletcher” Matthews, Director of Alternative Rock Programming for iHeartMedia St. Louis and Greg Chance, SVP of Programming for iHeartMedia Des Moines. Chance commented, “Alex has a bright programming future and has displayed all the characteristics of a great programmer. We are excited to see him further develop his career.”

Mac began his career at Entercom Alternative WRXL (XL102)/Richmond, VA, where he worked for Fletcher as an intern and worked his way up to nights before joining iHeartMedia Des Moines in October 2017. “I’m incredibly lucky to work with and learn from Dustin ‘Fletcher’ Matthews, Greg Chance and the talented team here at ALT 106.3,” said Mac, adding, “I look forward to growing the brand in my new role here in Des Moines!”
