Monk New RVP for Cumulus Flint & Saginaw

Cumulus Media has appointed Chris Monk as Regional Vice President for the company’s nine radio stations in Saginaw and Flint, MI. In this newly created position, Monk (left) will also serve as on-site Market Manager for the four-station Saginaw cluster and work with the team in Flint to maximize regional opportunities. Monk was most recently VP/Market Manager of Adams Radio Group in Fort Wayne, IN. The move marks a return to the very familiar turf of Saginaw and Flint for Monk, who was formerly Market Manager of these same stations from 2007-2012 under previous owner Citadel Broadcasting. Earlier in his career he was SVP/COO of Alliance 180, LLC, in Boyne City, MI, and VP/GM for Northern Star Broadcasting in Traverse City/Petoskey, MI.

Cumulus Saginaw is comprised of Top 40 WIOG, AC WHNN (My 96.1), Rock WKQZ (Z93) and Classic Rock WILZ (Wheelz 104.5). The Cumulus Flint cluster includes Top 40 WWCK (CK105.5), Country WFBE (NASH FM 95.1), Urban AC WDZZ (Z92.7), News-Talk WWCK-AM (SuperTalk 1570) and Sports WTRX-AM (Xtra 1330).
