KYGO/Denver Hits The Big 4-0

• On Tuesday, July 7, 2020, Bonneville Country 98.5 KYGO/Denver celebrated a momentous milestone — it’s 40th year of entertaining and serving its local Colorado communities!

To properly commemorate four decades of excellent service and to say “Thank you, Colorado,” KYGO will devote all day Saturday, July 11 for a gala on-air celebration — from 7-11am, KYGO will count down the Top 40 songs in its illustrious history — the biggest hits (and some surprise songs) over the last 40 years.

And then, from 11am until midnight on Saturday, 98.5 KYGO presents what it describes as “the biggest live music event to ever hit Denver radio” — KYGOpia — a virtual concert from “the KYGO Amphitheater,” featuring performances from Garth Brooks, Carrie Underwood, Kenny Chesney, George Strait, Blake Shelton, Florida Georgia Line, Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Dierks Bentley, Old Dominion, Jason Aldean, Alabama, Maren Morris, Zac Brown Band, Miranda Lambert, Keith Urban and Eric Church, along with a few surprises.

It’s a privilege to serve the Denver community and our great Country music fans.” KYGO PD Brian Michel stated, “KYGO is such an integral part of Colorado and Denver history both in terms of community service and bringing Country music to the state. We’re excited to bring this Saturday’s programming to the KYGO audience for reflection and celebration.”
