Rock 95 FIVE/Chicago Announces Air Staff
• iHeartMedia’s WCHI (Rock 95 FIVE)/Chicago has formally revealed its entire jock line-up — all seasoned major market pros. In addition to previously announced market veteran Angi Taylor, who crossed the hall from Top 40 sister WKSC (103.5 Kiss FM) to anchor the new Rock 95 FIVE morning show, the new Rock 95 FIVE also features two other longtime Windy City radio pros — Abe Kanan, former original content creator & writer for WKQX/Chicago, who will serve as Morning Show Executive Producer/Contributor and Walt Flakus, another WKQX vet, most recently APD/afternoons at KNDD (107.7 The End)/Seattle. Rounding out the fulltime air staff is Klinger, former night show host at WWDC (DC101)/Washington doing afternoon drive; and Maria Palmer, former night jock at WEND (106.5 The End)/Charlotte is now doing 7-midnight on Rock 95 FIVE.

All during the month of “ROCKtober,” listeners will be treated to features like “Chainsaw Fridays” and “The $50,000 Payoff,” along with the chance to win $12,000 daily with “Money To Blow,” while cranking up Rock’s biggest hits from Metallica, Nirvana, Guns N’ Roses, Linkin Park, AC/DC, Pearl Jam, Green Day, Def Leppard, Foo Fighters and more.
