KMOX + Frequency Modulation
• Entercom has expanded the reach of iconic St. Louis Talk outlet KMOX-AM (News Radio 1120) by plugging the station into an FM translator tuned to 98.7, and rebranding the joint as News Radio 1120AM/98.7 FM, extending the signal into the city’s business district including downtown, Clayton, Midtown, Creve Coeur, Maryland Heights and Kirkwood, effective March 22. That very same day, KMOX welcomes the addition of The Dave Glover Show weekdays from 2-6pm. Glover’s show migrates across the hall after 20 years on FM Talk sister KFTK-FM.
“We are beyond excited to amplify the reach of the one and only KMOX and serve the St. Louis area in a more significant way,” said Becky Domyan, SVP/Market Manager, Entercom St. Louis. “We are thrilled for The Dave Glover Show to bring over 20 years of success to KMOX with this expansion to FM. Dave and his team have had an unprecedented track record of creating laughter, highlighting thought-provoking topics, and committing to relevant, local content day in and day out.”
Steve Moore, Brand Manager of News Radio 1120 KMOX, commented, “Our goal is to serve as the voice of the entire community. It’s important that KMOX is available on multiple platforms in order to keep the listeners in the business district informed with the latest news throughout the city.”
• KFTK replaces The Dave Glover Show with The Mark Reardon Show, weekdays from 3-6pm CT. Reardon will pass Glover in the hallway as he migrates over from KMOX. However, Glover will remain a presence on his former station, which will air a Best of Glover show weekdays from 6-7pm.
