‘Woofy’ Named OM Of JVC Ft. Walton Beach
• It what is being described as “a big get” for JVC Media of Florida, the company announced the hire of Fort Walton Beach/Destin market legend Woofy Ramone as Operations Manager of the company’s Fort Walton Beach cluster — Top 40 WECQ (Q92), Country WHWY (Highway 98.1), Classic Hits WWAV (102.1 The Wave), and the recently launched WZLB (Florida Man Radio 103.1). Woofy (pictured) is a 30-plus-year area fixture and a former longtime presence on Cumulus Active Rock WKSM (99 Rock).
