Sunrise Broadcasting Alternative WRMR (Modern Rock 98.7)/Wilmington, NC now has a unique multi-faceted opportunity available as it was announced that midday princess Liv Dawson is relocating to Raleigh. Dawson had also hosted the station’s Sunday night specialty show, Local Lounge. As PD Paul Cannell tells RAMP, “Liv had a great relationship with the local music community and she will be difficult to replace. She’s got a great reference — me! Cannell has now put out a planetwide call to fill a completely new hybrid position that requires mad digital/social media skillz, promotions, and yes, somewhere in there, a midday show. You will be responsible for a) a midday airshift, b) digital content generation and management, and c) you will be the promotions liaison and coordinator for WRMR, which includes assisting promotions department in planning and executing contests and promotions.

Requirements include three years experience in active web content and social media management and relevant on-air radio experience. Experience with MS Office, NexGen, Adobe Creative Suite — primarily Adobe Audition, PhotoShop and Premiere Pro is essential. Fundamental website editing skills are necessary, and proficiency with Triton website platforms including WordPress a plus.
