Ramos Upped To EVP At Katz Media Group
• Katz Media Group has promoted Rick Ramos to Executive Vice President of Katz Multicultural Partnerships, which delivers advertisers access to 96% of the Multicultural audio marketplace in one stop. In this newly expanded role, Ramos will continue to oversee the creation of dynamic multicultural marketing campaigns across all of Katz’s audio partners, reporting to Tucker Flood, President of Eastman Radio at Katz Radio Group.

With more than 25 years of media sales experience, Ramos previously served as New York Sales Manager of Katz Hispanic Media; VP of Regional Sales Manager of HBC National Sales; VP of Univision National Sales; SVP, Director of Sales Business Development at Eastman Radio; and most recently, SVP of Multicultural Sales for Katz. “People of color are the fastest growing segment of the U.S. population,” Ramos said. “It’s important for advertisers to connect with the growing multicultural communities where consumers live. I’m passionate about helping marketers reach diverse audiences in meaningful ways.”
Ramos is the winner of the Medallas de Cortez Award for Marketer of the Year, honoring his excellence in all areas of Hispanic Radio. He’s also a member of the Hispanic Audio Alliances and RAB Multicultural Committee.
