Second Chance For 91X Morning Talent Danielle
• After a seven-year run with Local Media San Diego Alternative XETRA (91X)/San Diego, morning co-host Danielle Stuht announced her impending departure to pursue a tasty opportunity outside of radio.
As explained to RAMP by 91X PD Garett Michaels, “Danielle has decided to leave radio to accept a full-time position in the craft beer industry with Second Chance Beer Company. Second Chance is a great local brewery, that is run be terrific people, and they just brought home two medals at Great American Beer Festival in Denver last month.” He added, Going forward, Marty Whitney will be rocking solo in the morning.”
Stuht joined 91X in 2016 as Morning Show Producer and was later promoted to co-host alongside Tommy Hough, John Moug, and, since October 2019, with former 91X MD and night jock Marty Whitney, who returned to the station after a stint with Apple Music’s Beats 1.
91X broke the news of Danielle’s departure in a heartfelt Instagram post that reads, “It’s with mixed emotions that we share her departure from the morning show as she embarks on a new journey outside radio. Her contributions to 91X have been immeasurable, and we wish her nothing but success in her future endeavors.” Fans are invited to leave farewell messages to Danielle by calling 858-888-7020.
