Will Calder Exits Audacy Miami
• RAMP has confirmed that Will Calder is out as Director of Programming and Operations for Classic Hip Hop WPOW (Power 96)/Miami and Brand Manager of Hot AC WOMX (Mix 105.1)/Orlando.
Calder rejoined Power 96 in May 2022 — he had previously worked there as APD/MD and midday talent from 2013 to 2018. In June 2023 he was awarded Brand Manager stripes for WOMX. Calder earlier served as Director of Branding and Programming for Cox Media Group Top 40 WPOI (Hot 101.5)/Tampa and WPYO (Power 95.3)/Orlando until that station was sold.
He began his radio career in 2001 at former Chicago-area Dance trimulcast WKIE/WKIF/WDEK (Energy 92.7 & 5). He later served as Production Coordinator for Entercom Milwaukee and Production Director/Asst. MD and on-air personality at the former WXRK (92.3 Now)/New York.
In the interim, we understand Calder’s former duties will be covered by Miguel “Mijo” Irizarry, Brand Manager of Power 96 and WAXY-AM (Radio Libre 790)/Miami, and WQMP (102 JAMZ)/Orlando.
