Braun Downshifts At HYBE America

Scooter Braun will step down as CEO of HYBE America and move into a consulting role, the company announced Tuesday. Braun will remain a member of HYBE’s board of directors and as a senior advisor to HYBE CEO & Chairman Bang Si-Hyuk. Chief Strategy Officer Jason Jaesang Lee will succeed Braun as the new CEO of HYBE America.

Sources tell Variety Braun is stepping down in order to focus on his next endeavor, which was unclear at press time.

“Being a part of HYBE and witnessing its remarkable growth has been one of the most inspiring chapters of my professional journey,” Braun said in a statement. “Chairman Bang is a true visionary and a musical genius. What he has built with HYBE is unparalleled. I am incredibly proud of our collective accomplishments and look forward to supporting Chairman Bang and CEO Jason Jaesang Lee in their continued success as I step into what’s next.”
