Charlie Kirk Killed During Utah Appearance
• Conservative activist Charlie Kirk, co-founder and CEO of Turning Point USA and Salem Radio Network syndicated host and podcaster died in a Utah hospital after he was shot Wednesday afternoon while speaking at an event at Utah Valley University in Orem, UT. According to numerous eyewitnesses, Kirk, 31, was struck in the neck while he was participating in a Q&A session with students.
Wednesday afternoon, Utah Gov. Spencer Cox announced that person of interest had been taken into custody. However, several hours later, the FBI reported that “after an interrogation,” that person was released. The shooter remains at large.

Kirk is survived by his wife Erika Lane Frantzve and their two young children.
