PD Opportunity At 106.9 K-Hits/Tulsa!

Dateline: Tulsa, which was the site of some serious “Radio Gaga” this week. The action started on Tuesday when longtime market veteran “Wavy Davy” Michaels resigned as Brand Manager of Griffin Media Classic Hits KQRV for a position across the street with upstart Zoellner Media as Program Director of Classic Rock KJSR (new call letters KRHZ).

Reacting quickly, Don “DC” Cristi, Griffin’s newly appointed Director of Radio Programming, moved Tabatha Grammer (pictured), Brand Manager of Top 40 KHTT (106.9 K-Hits) over to KQRV, replacing Michaels. We are told that Ms. Grammer will program both stations while she assists Cristi in the search for her successor.

Which brings us to the official job posting for a new Brand Manager for KHTT. The position will also involve a daily airshift.

[Your name here] will be responsible for leading and collaborating with other departments on all aspects of the radio station, including on-air content, events, promotions, contesting, external marketing, and digital presence, etc.

Complete details and the application link are posted on the Griffin Media Careers portal. “DC” looks forward to meeting you! EOE.
