Katz Comes Through Again For BFOA

The Broadcasters Foundation of America (BFOA) proudly announces that Katz Media Group has raised more than $45,000 during its 14th annual two-week companywide membership drive.

Every dollar raised directly supports the Stu Olds Memorial Fund, honoring Katz’s former CEO and helping broadcasters and their families navigate life’s most difficult moments. This year’s generous contribution brings the total amount raised by Katz to nearly $550,000 since the drive’s inception.

“For more than 70 years, the Broadcasters Foundation has provided critical support — from medical assistance to emergency financial relief — for members of our broadcast community facing difficult times,” said Tim McCarthy, BFOA President. “The continued generosity and leadership of Katz Media Group play an essential role in allowing us to carry out that mission, and we are deeply grateful for the team’s dedication year after year.”

“As a long-time board member, I’ve seen firsthand the real impact the Broadcasters Foundation has on the lives of people in our industry,” said Mark Gray, CEO of Katz Media Group. “Supporting this organization is deeply important to our team, and I’m incredibly proud of the way our employees continue to come together each year to help our colleagues who need it most.”

Last year, Katz Media Group received the 2025 Philip J. Lombardo Spirit Award, recognizing the company’s longstanding commitment to the Broadcasters Foundation.
