Pros On The Loose: Ty Bailey

• RAMP has confirmed that Ty Bailey has exited as APD/afternoon talent at iHeartMedia Country cousins WMZQ/Washington and WPOC/Baltimore after a nine-year run. In her not-so-spare time Bailey was also doing middays on Country WWYZ/Hartford and Classic Rock WBIG/Washington.

This had been Ms. Bailey’s second tour of duty with iHeart DC — she returned to our Nation’s Capital as APD/afternoon talent on WMZQ in Nov. 2017 after a five-year stint at Active Rock sister WXTB (98 Rock)/Tampa, where she started as APD in July 2012 and rose to PD in September 2013.

Bailey earlier did middays at iHeartMedia’s WWDC (DC101)/Washington. She previously served as APD/MD at WCHH (Channel 104.3)/Baltimore and programmed Galaxy’s K-Rock twins, WKRL/Syracuse and WKLL/Utica, NY.
