Townsquare Expands The Fan To Fort Collins

• Townsquare has taken steps to correct the ratings challenges facing Rhythmic KARS-FM (Power 102.9)/Laramie, WY, which also serves the Ft. Collins market — On May 7, the station flipped to Sports-Talk as 102.9 The Fan, and, in a unique arrangement with Bonneville, is now simulcasting the programming of Bonneville’s KKFN (104.3 The Fan)/Denver.

102.9 The Fan is now Northern Colorado’s home of Stokley And Evans with Mark Schlereth, hosted by Brandon Stokley and Zach Evans with Mark Schlereth in morning drive; Dover & Cecil with Josh Doverand Cecil Lammey in middays, and The Drive with Zach Bye and Phillip Lindsay in afternoon drive. 102.9 The Fan will remain the broadcast home of Colorado State University sports.
