Pros On The Loose: Dyron ‘Ducati’ Walker

• While there has been no formal announcement from Cox Media Group Atlanta, Friends Of Georgia Radio’s Wavelengths publication reports that APD/midday personality Dyron “Ducati” Walker exited Urban AC WALR (Kiss 104.1) earlier this month. Ducati confirmed to Wavelengths that he is no longer with the station, and for now, will be continuing to develop both his DJ business as well as his voiceover work.

Replacing Ducati in middays is Monie Love, who moves up from afternoons, and new to afternoon drive is market veteran Ramona DeBreaux, who joined WALR for weekends a year ago. With three decades of on-air experience in the ATL, DeBreaux is best known for her 15-year run as midday talent at Audacy Urban WVEE (V103) until early 2023, when she left to pursue writing, production and film projects. She earlier spent 12 years in middays at Radio One’s WHTA (Hot 107.5).

Ducati joined WALR in 2018 as weekend/fill-in talent, and was upped to middays in April 2019. He was named APD in August 2024. Ducati began his radio career as morning show producer/co-host at iHeartMedia Urban WQUE (Q93.3)/New Orleans in 2003. He returned to his hometown of Atlanta in 2010 as a Traffic Reporter for CMG, before working for iHeartMedia ATL as voice talent and air personality.
