Major Movement At Star 94/Atlanta

• Serious changes are underway at Audacy’s WSTR (Star 94)/Atlanta — following the recent departure of Brand Manager Emily Boldon, RAMP has learned that Regional PD JR Ammons, who currently oversees Kansas City, Houston, and St. Louis (until that cluster’s sale to Hoffmann becomes final) has now annexed Atlanta as well.

We have also confirmed the departure of Star 94 morning duo Kevin and Taylor, and we are hearing that The Bret Mega Show, based at Audacy’s KYKY (Y98)/St. Louis and carried in mornings on Hot AC WTDY (The New 96.5)/Philadelphia, KZPT (99.7 The Point)/Kansas City and KFBZ (105.3 The Buzz)/Wichita, KS will be relocating to Atlanta. We are awaiting that confirmation.

Kevin Avery and Taylor Scott joined Star 94 for mornings in Sept. 2025, coming off a 25-year run across the street on former Salem Contemporary Christian WFSH (104.7 The Fish), which was sold to EMF in January 2025. Stay tuned for further updates.
