Connoisseur Makes Bay Area Moves

• Connoisseur Media announced a series of programming changes across its Bay Area cluster, including expanded roles for several members of the company’s San Francisco team:

Pictured, (l-r): Big Reid, who currently does nights on Top 40 KMVQ (99.7 NOW) and afternoons on Urban AC 102.9 KBLX, transitions to mornings on KBLX, joining Freska, and replacing Rudy Ortiz. The move creates a new opportunity on KBLX afternoons and nights on 99.7 NOW. Plans for these shows TBA.

Morris Knight, currently heard in afternoons on AC 96.5 KOIT, adds middays on AC 101.7 KKIQ in his hometown of Pleasanton, CA, replacing Faith Alpher.

Ileana Matzorkis, who oversees production for Connoisseur’s San Francisco stations and hosts nights on KOIT, adds the title of Regional Production Director, and Richie Brown, currently Program Coordinator for KOIT, KBLX and Hot AC KEZR (Mix 106.5)/San Jose, adds Music Director stripes for KOIT and KEZR.
