FEMco Presents ‘FEMCountry At Parton’s Live’

FEMco, the influential platform founded by veteran music industry executive Leslie Fram to champion women in music, and Dolly Parton‘s SongTeller Hotel announced a new partnership that will bring a recurring showcase dedicated to female artists to the heart of downtown Nashville.

FEMcountry at Parton’s Live debuts Tuesday, Sept. 22 at Parton’s Live, the hotel’s premier live entertainment venue, with a powerhouse lineup, including an in-depth conversation with two-time GRAMMY Award-nominated artist Jo Dee Messina, followed by performances by artists Kylie Frey, Ruby Amanfu and Shelly Fairchild.

“FEMco has been committed to creating opportunities that elevate women in music – not just through conversation, but through action,” said Fram. “Partnering with Dolly Parton’s SongTeller Hotel is incredibly meaningful because Dolly has long been the gold standard for using her platform to lift others up. FEMcountry at Parton’s Live is about creating a home where exceptional female artists can share their music, build community and connect with audiences who are eager to discover their next favorite artist.”

“I was asked to do this prior to Dolly’s passing, and it was such an honor,” said Jo Dee Messina. “Being part of it feels even more meaningful now. The SongTeller is a reflection of who Dolly was. Her life was a song. To have the opportunity to mentor singer/songwriters feels like a natural part of her larger legacy. In many ways, this event feels like a passing of the torch, carrying forward the spirit of what Dolly gave to so many and helping inspire the storytellers and songwriters who come next. I’m truly honored to be part of this event, and I hope that, with the torch Dolly lit, we can keep that mission burning brightly.”

FEMcountry at Parton’s Live takes place on the third Tuesday of every month. Tickets are available now through the SongTeller Hotel website.
