• Saga Active Rock KAZR (LAZER 103.3)/Des Moines, IA has filled its morning show vacancy — meet the newest “LAZER Hellraiser” — Ryan Gibbons starts Monday morning.
Major market veteran Gibbons was most recently Executive Producer at iHeartMedia Seattle, and boasts an extensive morning show producing resume that started with Danny Bonaduce at WYSP/Philadelphia in 2008; Producer for WIP-FM/Philly from 2011 to 2023; Executive Producer for Bonaduce & Sarah at KZOK/Seattle from 2013 to 2016; EP for Riggs & Alley at WXSS/Milwaukee from 2016 to 2020; EP for BJ Shea & Sarah at KZOK from July to October 2024; EP for Sarah solo from Oct. 2024 to Oct. 2025.
LAZER 103.3 Content Director Wes Styles commented, “We’re excited to have Gibbons join the LAZER team, bringing his amazing level of energy and sense of humor to Des Moines. He’s already hitting the streets, meeting the Hellraisers, and invading the jumbotron at the Iowa Wild with one of the greatest air guitar solos in history.”
“I’m thrilled beyond words to join the legendary crew at LAZER 103.3,” said Gibbons. “Huge thanks to OM Leigh McNabb, PD Styles, and GM Amber Battani for believing in me and giving me this phenomenal opportunity. Let’s make some noise, LAZER Hellraisers!”
Concurrent with Gibbons’ Des Moines debut, Styles swaps shifts with Production Director Ethan Jackson — Styles takes over middays, and Jackson will anchor afternoon drive. Samantha Knight remains in the 6-11pm spot.
